Job Location: Chevron, Lagos

Job Description 

1. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions.
2. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
3. As a Full Stack Developer, you will utilize expertise with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries to develop functional mobile and web applications. While keeping up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends, you will also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Job Responsibilities

1. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
2. Design client-side and server-side architecture
3. Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
4. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
5. Write clean code to develop functional web applications. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
6. Write effective APIs
7. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
8. Create quality mockups and prototypes
9. Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
10. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
11. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
12. Create security and data protection settings
13. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
14. Write technical documentation
15. Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software requirements
16. Implementing algorithms and solving related problems
17. Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
• 3 – 5 years work experience.

Competency / Skills:

1. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
2. Strong experience developing desktop and mobile applications
3. Proven experience working with React Native or Flutter frameworks
4. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
5. Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Ruby, Dart, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
6. Proficiency with databases (e.g., MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache)
7. Familiarity with UI/UX design, Wireframing and UI prototyping and UX research
8. Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision)
9. Working experience of frameworks like Django for Python, Larval for PHP, Hadoop clusters, Kafka etc.
10. Proficiency with Cache (Varnish, Memcached, Redis)
11. Proficiency with API (REST, SOAP)
12. Manage APIs resources which work across devices, familiarity with sockets
13. Skilled at writing Unit and Automation tests
14. Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Content Management Systems. Working knowledge of CMS frameworks
15. Hands on expertise working with applications handling big data
16. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary
N300,000 – 400,000 / month.
