Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
Demonstrate practical knowledge in preparation as well as previous experience in execution of high risk activities:

  1. Confined spaces activities
  2. Work on de-energized systems (process, electrical and mechanical units)
  3. Hot work naked flame activities
  4. Lifting operations
  5. Work at height
  6. High pressure water jet cleaning
  7. Personnel/cargo transfer between watercraft and offshore structures

Demonstrate practical knowledge and experience in co-activity or simultaneous activity management:

  1. Area classification (Living quarters, Utility area and Process area)
  2. Importance of the following roles: authorized gas tester; operating authority representative or area authority and safety watcher
  3. Dangerous interferences and mitigations during accidental hydrocarbon releases

Demonstrate practical knowledge and experience in emergency response actions:

  1. Responsibility of on-scene observers (injury to personnel; fire at worksite)
  2. Identification and roles of the onsite Emergency Response and Intervention Teams
  3. Specific emergency response equipment for confined spaces, hot work naked flame and marine transfer of personnel

Demonstrate practical knowledge and experience in TotalEnergies basic safety tools:

Job Requirements

  1. Engineering Degree or Diploma
  2. Above 5 years oilfield experience with over 3 years in HSE function.
