Cybertron Ads is a Programmatic media platform focused on customer acquisiton based in Yaba, Lagos. It’s a fusion of media, marketing plus tech enabling to ensure that the ads get delivered to the right consumers and have the right results.

Job Position: Public Relations (PR) and Outreach Intern (NYSC)

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

  1. The PR and Outreach Intern will assist our PR and Outreach team in implementing communication strategies, building brand awareness, and engaging with our target audience.
  2. This internship provides hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and outreach efforts.

Job Responsibilities
Media Monitoring:

  1. Monitor news articles, blogs, and social media for mentions related to our organization.
  2. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly media monitoring reports.

Content Creation:

  1. Assist in drafting periodic press releases, blog posts, and social media content.
  2. Help create multimedia materials such as images and videos for PR campaigns.

Media Relations:

  1. Build and maintain media contact databases.
  2. Assist in pitching stories and press releases to journalists and media outlets.
  3. Coordinate media interviews and press conferences as needed.

Outreach and Partnerships:

  1. Identify potential partners, influencers, and stakeholders for collaboration.
  2. Assist in outreach efforts to establish and maintain partnerships.
  3. Track and document partnership initiatives and outcomes.

Event Support:

  1. Provide support in planning and executing PR events, product launches, and promotional activities.
  2. Assist in coordinating logistics, invitations, and media coverage for events.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Help track and analyze PR and outreach metrics.
  2. Prepare reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and outreach initiatives

Research and Trends:

  1. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR best practices.
  2. Conduct research on target demographics and audiences.

Administrative Support:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining PR databases, and managing email correspondence.

Professional Development:

  • Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and learning in the field of PR and outreach.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Familiarity with social media platforms and PR tools.
  4. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  6. Basic knowledge of media relations and outreach strategies is a plus.

Salary
N600,000 – N850,000 Annually.
