Job Description

  1. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
  3. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing support to various departments within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements.
  2. Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial reports are produced in a timely manner.
  3. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting activities.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, provide analysis, and support decision-making processes.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support as needed.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting operations.
  9. Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and enhance financial reporting practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
