Job Position: Marketing and Communication Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our properties, enhance brand visibility, drive lead generation as well as ensure effective communication within the organization.
  2. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of marketing strategies, and the ability to develop and implement effective communication plans.
  3. The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with the Digital Media Strategist, as well as various departments to oversee all marketing and communications activities, create engaging and compelling content, including digital marketing campaigns, advertising efforts, public relations, and content creation.
  4. The goal is to increase brand awareness, attract potential buyers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

 Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement an integrated communication strategy to promote the company’s show houses or houses for sale.
  2. Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement strategic marketing plans to promote properties, attract potential buyers, and drive sales.
  3. Execute Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across various platforms including digital (website, social media, email), print, and events.
  4. Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency across all marketing collateral and ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all communications.
  5. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising to maximize online visibility and engagement.
  6. Content Creation: Supervise the creation of high-quality content including property listings, blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics to engage target audiences and drive traffic.
  7. Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure press coverage, generate positive publicity, and enhance the company’s reputation; Act as spokesperson for the company, handling media inquiries, press releases, and public relations activities.
  8. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  9. Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  10. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide regular reports to management.
  11. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the company’s marketing and communication efforts.
  13. Train and guide team members on communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging throughout all channels.
  14. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all communication activities.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Property Sales/Rentals: Measure the number of properties sold/leased within a specific timeframe to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving transactions.
  2. Lead Generation: Track the number of leads generated through marketing activities such as website inquiries, email sign-ups, and property inquiries.
  3. Website Traffic: Monitor website traffic metrics including unique visitors, page views, and time spent on site to assess online visibility and engagement.
  4. Conversion Rates: Calculate conversion rates for various stages of the buyer/renter journey, such as from lead to property showing, and from showing to sale/lease agreement.
  5. ROI (Return on Investment): Evaluate the return on investment for marketing campaigns by comparing the cost of marketing activities to the revenue generated from property sales/rentals.
  6. Brand Awareness: Measure brand visibility and recognition through metrics such as brand mentions, social media followers, and website referrals.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Gather feedback from buyers/renters to assess satisfaction levels with the property purchasing/renting process and overall experience with the company.
  8. Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of competitor marketing strategies, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify areas for improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
  9. Marketing Collateral Effectiveness: Assess the performance of marketing collateral such as property listings, brochures, and promotional materials in attracting and engaging potential buyers/renters.
  10. Team Performance: Evaluate the performance of the marketing team based on individual and departmental goals, project deadlines, and overall contribution to company objectives.
  11. Responsiveness in resolving communication issues between clients and the company.
  12. Meeting the set target for the year.
  13. Quality of report to aid management decisions.
  14. Feedback from customers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in similar or related role.

Competencies for the Role:

  1. Proven work experience as a marketing and communications manager or similar role in the real estate industry.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  4. Proficient in using social media platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
  5. Experience in organizing promotional events and managing media relations.
  6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  7. Creativity and initiative to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  8. Analytical skills to track and measure marketing performance.
  9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  10. Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and media representatives.

Salary
N200,000 / month.
