Overview
Nigerian Foundries Group is a 53-year old reverse engineering group of companies that offers tailor-made products and solutions to the West African Industries. We produce ferrous & non-ferrous castings, test/counter weights, a variety of fabrications and components made by additive manufacturing (3D Printing). In addition, we have heat treatment, pattern making and machining facilities.
Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Ogun
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including:
- Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Assisting with cost accounting activities, including tracking and analyzing production costs,.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable, including managing payments to vendors and collections from customers,
- Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of internal control procedures.
- Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and ensuring compliance.
Job Requirements
You are a great fit for this role if you have:
- An HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
