DNA Learning Solutions – Our client, an indigenous Oil & Gas Servicing company based in Port Harcourt that provides Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation services, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: HSE Officer (Oil and Gas)

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  2. Support the implementation of the Group’s HSE policies in relation to the goal zero incident targets and objectives.
  3. Conduct daily toolbox meetings, before commencement of work
  4. Reports Near misses, accidents, (and ensures investigations), and send report to appropriate authorities.
  5. Documents HSE meeting minutes and track action points for prompt close-out.
  6. Ensure PPE compliance on site.
  7. Ensures compliance to applicable Permit to Work (PTW) system on site
  8. Participate in drills to test the preparedness of the workers for HSE emergencies at sites and Report observations for close-out.
  9. Submit to HSE Supervisor weekly HSE statistics for corporate monthly compilation and publication

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate should possess a B.Sc or HND
  2. A minimum of two (2) years HSE working experience in Oil and Gas Industry
  3. Professional certification in health and safety
  4. MUST have Offshore HSE Experience
  5. Experience in Offshore construction, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning in an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Industry

Salary
N280,000 – N330,000 / Month.
