Job Position: Senior Mechanic

Job Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage an experienced Mechanic for our Seismic operations in Nigeria.

Job Requirements

  1. The Candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience working as a mechanic and at least
  2. The candidate must possess Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or its equivalent) and must have a valid driving license with good driving record.

Key requirements Includes:

  1. Diagnoses engine, mechanical, and electrical problems and performs needed repairs.
  2. Performs tune-ups, oil changes, battery checks, tire and lubrication checks, and other preventive maintenance on city automotive and mechanical equipment
  3. Overhauls vehicle and equipment engines and carburetors
  4. Rebuilds and replaces manual transmissions
  5. Repairs cooling, heating, and air conditioning systems
  6. Repairs clutches, brakes, rear ends, doors, and any other parts of city vehicles and equipment that need repair
  7. Repairs small engines, industrial pumps, and lawn maintenance equipment
  8. Performs such other related duties as may be assigned
  9. Orders parts needed for repairs.
