Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports detailing the manufacturing department’s performance and profitability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production costs and identify areas for cost optimization.
  3. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing operations.
  4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  5. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial statements.

Job Requirements

  • HND / BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience as an accountant
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration across departments.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Candidate should be able to handle all payable and receivables, keep authentic and accurate records, able to use Accounting Software.
  • Must have experience in audit.
  • Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries specific to the manufacturing process.
