Job Position: Partner Sales Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Managing & grow regional Distributor network
  2. Building strong relationships with distributors
  3. Manage Order & Sales forecast, Marketing & Training schedules for Distributors

Customers:

  1. Internal: Sales, Admin, Training department, Marketing, Product & Solutions Team
  2. External: Customers, suppliers, subsidiaries, Distributors

Job Requirements

  1. Create & manage agreed actions plans per distributor
  2. Marketing plan coordination between Marketing & Distributor
  3. Target setting per Product Group & forecasted over the year through CRM on Demand tool
  4. Mapping of key customers (existing + new alignment with KAM) per distributor
  5. Develop Technical capability of distributor through driving attendance of distributors ttechnology workshops, seminars as appropriate
  6. Full Vertiv product exposure/coverage tbe pushed through distributors
  7. Monthly / Quarterly reviews with Distributors and internal management
  8. Contract management for region per distributors, coordinating with CoE relevant people
  9. Providing monthly order forecasting
  10. Logistic/payment support
  11. Incentives based on distributor targets
  12. Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager.

Other Requirements
Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or similar
  • 3-5 Years’ experience in similar management role
  • MBA helpful
  • Pre-requisites
  • Fluency in English written & local language

Preferred background:

  • Regional experience, understanding of distributor landscape

Travel:

  • Extensive travel expected at 70% of the year.
