Cometstar Manufacturing Co. Ltd is a member of Cometstar Group. It was incorporated in Nigeria on the 25th day of February, 2005 under Company & Allied Matters Act, 1990 of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our company is wholly owned by Nigerians. We started production in April 2006 in our ultra-modern cable manufacturing factory located at Agbara Industrial Estate – about two kilometers from Badagry Expressway, Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are seeking for immediate employment a skilled accountant at its Industrial Gas Division.
  2. The ideal candidate must be analytical, proactive, independent-minded and result-oriented.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage income and expenditure accounts, and generate financial reports, using income and expenditure data
  2. Reconcile various accounting books and render financial statements and reports regularly

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of First Degree in Finance, Accounting or any other related field
  2. At least 3 years post-NYSC experience in a similar role
  3. Professional certification, e.g. ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage
  4. Efficiency in using production management software
