Klasha makes it easy for African consumers to shop online. We build technology that allows African consumers to easily access the goods they want on the continent. We enable payments online in local African currencies and can handle the last-mile logistics for our retail partners too. Statistically, Africa is the future, so we believe consumers on the continent should have the same frictionless access to the global e-commerce economy as consumers in the West.

Klasha was founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 2018 and is backed by Techstars, Ginco Investments and a group of notable angel investors. Klasha is run by 20-somethings from five nationalities that speak six different languages between them. Klasha has offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria.

Job Description

  1. Klasha is seeking a Data Analyst to work with the product team in delivering accurate data analysis and visualization for the organization.
  2. The Data Analyst should be able to deliver excellent stakeholder management and business impact while working within assigned timelines.
  3. As an early-stage startup, you will come up with creative solutions, this position requires the ability to take ownership while working and within a team, communicate complex concepts in concise terms, prioritise tasks, and work with various departments efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create dashboards for metrics monitoring and tracking.
  2. Create dashboards for internal teams’ operational use.
  3. Track changes in product data and report to management.
  4. Be the point of contact for all data needs.
  5. Assist in product market research.

Job Requirements

  1. Proficiency in Excel and SQL
  2. Experience developing complex dashboards on Metabase.
  3. Excellent data analytics, preparation and visualization skills.
  4. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience in user and market research
  2. Experience with languages such as python, R.
  3. Good Initiative
  4. Statistical knowledge and data management
