Job Position: Distributor Account Manager

Job Locations: Abuja and Kano

Job Description

  1. The Distributor Account Manager would be responsible for managing distributors on our platform.
  2. From onboarding the distributors to managing the account of distributors. You will be responsible for building and maintaining direct relationships with distributors, ensuring SLAs for order fulfillment is met, negotiation of prices, increased acceptance rate, assortment etc. to maintain value and growth of the business

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributor accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all their needs and inquiries.Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with distributors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships and maximizing profitability for the company.
  2. Ensure SLA for order fulfillment is met.
  3. Negotiate pricing terms with distributors to enhance profitability and boost our user acceptance rate.
  4. Reconcile distributor accounts and actively drive account growth initiatives.
  5. Oversee the order process, from placement to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet customer demands and maintain satisfaction.
  6. Ensure acceptance rate above 90%, and fulfillment rate of 80%
  7. Manage our product assortment process.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and logistics to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of distributor-related initiatives.
  9. Monitor distributor performance metrics and sales data, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement to drive sales growth and achieve targets.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years Distributor account management experience within the FMCG sector
  3. Strong negotiation, vendor management and customer service skills and knowledge
  4. Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Street smart and with a drive for sales
  6. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
  7. Evidence of successfully leading others to exceed measurable revenue targets.
