Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  2. Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
  3. Lead and manage project teams, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient project execution.
  4. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  5. Track project budget and resource allocation, making adjustments as needed.
  6. Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and upper management.
  7. Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, roadblocks, and solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track key product metrics and KPIs.
  9. Transition service including transition planning and support, release/deployment management, service validation and testing, change management, service asset and configuration management, and knowledge management.
  10. Operate service including event management, incident management, request fulfillment, and access Ability to work in a team environment involving matrix organizations.
  11. Resolve conflicting high-priority requirements.
  12. Communicate the needs of others effectively.
  13. Gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions. Ability to conduct training and informational sessions. Ability to communicate effectively, build consensus, facilitate working sessions, and negotiate solutions and alternatives. Ability to maintain favourable public relations and perform problem/issue resolution
  14. Manage project changes by updating plans, communicating impacts, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  15. Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement in future endeavours.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in the fintech industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with fintech products, trends, and regulatory landscape in Nigeria.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Postman, APIs) and product management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for driving user-centred product enhancements.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
