Job Position: Market Operations Associate

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

  1. We are looking for someone who would be involved in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Retail business for Quidax- the cryptocurrency trading platform.
  2. This role provides you an opportunity to demonstrate your special set of skills and requires the highest level of professional excellence and competence.

Job Responsibilities 
What your day-to-day at Quidax might look like:

  1. Monitoring the exchange to ensure easy and seamless execution of all customers related trades.
  2. Ensuring all market orders are loaded and report liquidity and all operational status as assigned by the Portfolio Manager
  3. Monitoring all order book processes to ensure no loopholes leading to failed trades before customer success picks on it
  4. Keeping daily trading blotter record of all Retail trades: Position and P&L
  5. Working closely with data analysts to provide useful data points in support of Market Operations
  6. Working closely with the Treasury for timely market discovery and rate-trending

Job Requirements
What you need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Trading Financial markets instruments (Currencies, Commodities or Fixed Income). Crypto trading experience provides an edge.
  • 3 years of technical trading experience in Crypto or Financial instruments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CFA/ACI or its equivalent.
  • Experience working for a Crypto Exchange.
  • Experience in order book trading.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience working for a Crypto Exchange.
  2. Experience in Orderbook Trading.
  3. Experience in a Traditional Finance/Banking Environment
