Job Position: UI / UX Specialist

Job Location: Lekki-Ajah, Lagos

Job Description

  1. As a UI/UX Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user interface and user experience of our digital products.
  2. You will work closely with our development, marketing, and product teams to ensure our digital presence is both visually appealing and user-friendly.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  2. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  3. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize and improve existing UI/UX designs.
  4. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  5. Develop and maintain design mockups, specifications, and redlines.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  7. Ensure designs are consistent with our branding and design guidelines.
  8. Lead and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  9. Participate in agile/scrum development process and provide design support during development sprints.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in UI/UX design.
  2. Proven experience in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  3. Strong understanding of tech and digital marketing skills.
  4. Proficient in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and InVision.
  5. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  7. Strong leadership abilities with experience leading design projects and mentoring team members.
  8. A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and problem-solving ability.
  9. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
