Job Position: Senior Product Designer, AI & ModelOps at The GitLab

Job Description
- A very exciting role indeed! We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to work on our AI-powered and ModelOps stages, which includes Duo Chat, AI Design Systems, ModelOps and Custom Models. You’ll partner closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager and growing Engineering team. You’ll join several other designers to help shape the user experience of our AI powered DevSecOps platform. We have a strong design system that needs to be updated with interaction patterns related to Code Suggestions, Chat and upcoming AI capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Must have demonstrated experience with DevOps (beyond agile planning tools), either as a user or designing for a product.
- Must have demonstrated experience with machine learning, data science and GenAI.
- Must have strong interaction design skills, ideally having worked on complex web applications.
- Strong experience working in highly technical, complex environments.
- Experience conducting your own research with a variety of methods, and strong decision making skills for when to do research.
- Experience working in both startups and enterprise is highly beneficial.
Salary
- $114,200—$244,800 USD
