Job Position: Backend Engineer

Job Description

  • We’re on the hunt for a talented and experienced Midlevel Backend Engineer to join our vibrant and growing team. If you’ve got a solid background in software development and can handle projects like a pro, we want you! Familiarity with our tech stack is a must, and a passion for maintaining high standards is essential. Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing backend applications.
  2. Work closely with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  3. Lead the design and implementation of new features, services, and APIs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  5. Optimise applications for maintainability, maximum speed, scalability, and usability.
  6. Ensure the creation and maintenance of documentation.
  7. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
  8. Collaborate with the team to prioritize features and define the project roadmap.
  9. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as they arise.
  10. Develop and write Specification and design documents.

Job Requirements
What we are looking for:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in building production software.
  2. Must possess a solid foundation in computer science
  3. Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and associated backend frameworks.
  4. Proficient in database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis.
  5. Experience with cloud services and deployment processes.
  6. Ability to lead and execute projects with minimal supervision.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills with a drive for high-quality results.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
