Job Position: Backend Developer – Junior, Mid & Senior Level

Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Job Responsibilities
We would like to get your application if you can (All Levels):

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with frontend-developers, product managers, and other teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Optimize and scale systems for performance and reliability.
  • Implement and improve upon best practices for software development and security.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

What we are looking out for (All Levels)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or similar.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organization is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and designing data structures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
  • Solid understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and RESTful services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Requirements
Junior Engineer Requirements:

  • 0 – 2 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
  • Basic understanding of backend technologies and data structures.

Mid-Level Engineer Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable backend systems.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.

Senior Backend Engineers:

  • 5+ years of backend development experience.
  • Deep expertise in architecture and scaling large backend systems.
  • Leadership experience in technical projects and mentoring teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions.
