We are a Nigerian based manufacturing company that specialize in plastics and nylon packaging materials productions. We produce high quality polythene bags from 100 percent recycled LDPE and HDPE. We produce in commercial and retail quantity in deference sizes and thickness with all various gadget and industrial equipment. Job Position: Human Resource Officer

Job Location: Jericho, Ibadan – Oyo

Job Description

  • We are looking for a proactive and organized Human Resource Officer to join our HR team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of HR best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related queries and issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Assist in the management of employee performance appraisals and evaluations.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing grievances, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Contribute to the creation of a healthy and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or a related role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPM, PHRI) is an advantage.
