Job Position: Marketing Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Marketing Officer, you drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and enhance the News Central brand through creative marketing solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue for News Central.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Liaising with Media Agencies to procure campaigns for the television station
  • Identify strategic partners that will create awareness, help build the News Central brand, close deals and reduce operational expenses for the company through barter or discounted arrangements
  • Search for advertising or sponsorship opportunities for the Station and ensure that the brand is a good fit with listeners or the style of different shows.
  • Day-to-day contact via phone and email with agency contacts.
  • Weekly WIP meetings with key agency contacts.
  • Ensure that the correct advertising materials are delivered to the Station and shared with the appropriate departments in time for campaigns.
  • Accommodate and prioritize several concurrent advertising campaigns.
  • Problem-solving within the context of the job.
  • Following up with clients to ensure payments are made based on agreed terms
  • Building and maintaining a database of key contacts across media and potential client sectors.
