Job Position: Growth Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Create newsletters to update users on new features, market insights, regulatory changes, and other relevant information.
  • Develop blog posts focused on financial literacy, market trends, product features, user success stories, and other topics to engage the target audience.
  • Contribute to publication (e.g., white paper, eBook, report) offering in-depth insights into the FinTech industry, market analysis, or thought leadership.
  • Craft user-centric content, including website copywriting, blogging, and newsletters, to guide and engage users, ensuring alignment with brand voice and tone.
  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging content for web and mobile applications, including microcopy, error messages, help content, and instructional text.
  • Develop and execute multiple paid and organic channels marketing strategies to drive traffic, brand awareness, inbound enquiries and grow our customer base.
  • Create and publish engaging content for various platforms such as website, social media, and blogs.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Develop, launch and manage new campaigns that promotes the HelloMe brand.
  • Collect and analyze customer, marketing and web behavioral data.
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Regular communication with customers and followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Test campaigns, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities to increase campaign performance.
  • Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies.
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports.
  • Create weekly/monthly/quarterly marketing newsletters updating company customers on our marketing and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Develop digital campaign and web measurement strategies.
  • Creating dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and also website performance reports.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, marketing trends, and provide growth insights.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as marketing and design to create engaging website content and graphics that aligns with the company’s goals, brand identity, and ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
  • Research and understand the company’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings.
  • Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms to increase visibility and reach.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content production and timely delivery.
  • Design and implement website features and functionalities, ensuring high- performance and responsiveness.
  • Analyze content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and conversion rates to inform future content strategies.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure brand consistency, and our internal site developers implement SEO optimizations and Google analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and technologies to continuously improve content creation skills.
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly cost and reconcile discrepancies.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Marketing (particularly Digital and Social Media Marketing) Advertising Business Management, Journalism, Media and Communications, and Public Relations qualification.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrable experience as a Growth Digital Marketing Specialist in the Banking, Fintech, or Digital Banking sector.
  • A portfolio of successful digital marketing campaigns or projects across a variety of channels, with results to match.
  • Passion for digital marketing and a good understanding of the fintech industry.
  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly to advertising/branding and customers, copywriting, and web content management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization.
  • Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including, Google Analytics / or Adobe Analytics, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube Ads, Email marketing, and paid social advertising.
  • Experience in website, business analytics, and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Optimize, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to interpret and communicate campaign performance metrics.
  • Highly self-motivated and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative skill with a result-driven mindset for contributing new and innovative ideas.
