Job Position: Business Development Officer – Merchant POS Acquiry

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
The Business Development Officer (Merchants POS Acquiry) will be responsible for:

  • POS merchant acquisition.
  • Managing transactions for merchants.
  • Onboarding and deployment of merchant POS.
  • Handling merchant inquiries and complaints, and ensuring the proper operation of point-of-sale systems.
  • Responsible for merchant transaction turnover and POS target.

Job Requirements

  • BSc / HND in a relevant field is required, additional education is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Merchant POS field officer at a Fintech company is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and payment processing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to speak the local language of the geographical location mentioned above is required.
