Job Position: Business Development Officer – Merchant POS Acquiry
Job Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
The Business Development Officer (Merchants POS Acquiry) will be responsible for:
- POS merchant acquisition.
- Managing transactions for merchants.
- Onboarding and deployment of merchant POS.
- Handling merchant inquiries and complaints, and ensuring the proper operation of point-of-sale systems.
- Responsible for merchant transaction turnover and POS target.
Job Requirements
- BSc / HND in a relevant field is required, additional education is a plus.
- Prior experience as a Merchant POS field officer at a Fintech company is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and payment processing.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow standard operating procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to speak the local language of the geographical location mentioned above is required.
