Job Description

  • We’re seeking an energetic and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help generate new business opportunities. As an SDR, you will be responsible for sourcing leads, reaching out to prospects, and scheduling meetings for our sales team. This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in sales and develop skills in business development, prospecting, and customer engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email, and social media to generate leads.
  • Qualify Prospects: Conduct initial outreach and discovery calls to identify key client needs and determine if they’re a good fit for our solutions.
  • Set Appointments: Schedule meetings or product demos between qualified leads and the sales team.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log all client interactions and track your pipeline using our CRM system to ensure no lead falls through the cracks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth hand-offs and follow-ups on qualified leads.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to better position Basecose’s offerings to potential clients.

Job Requirements

  • Prior tech sales experience, experience in customer service, or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Self-driven, organized, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (like Zoho or Salesforce) is a plus, but we will provide training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous, but not required.
