Job Description

  • As the Social Media Manager at Busha, you’ll spearhead initiatives to enhance Busha’s online presence and brand perception through creative and innovative digital strategies, focusing on brand building and engagement.
  • You must have a deep understanding of social media trends, best practices, and analytics, ensuring that our brand presence is engaging, consistent, and driving measurable results.

Job Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Set specific objectives, KPIs, and metrics to track performance and growth across all social platforms.
  • Research audience preferences and trends to optimise content and strategy for maximum engagement.
  • Plan and manage social media calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, launches, and events.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content tailored to each social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Work with internal creative teams, graphic designers, and videographers to ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, visual identity, and marketing goals.
  • Develop and maintain a content schedule for posting across platforms, ensuring consistency and quality.

Community Management:

  • Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, brand advocates, and followers to increase brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Monitor and manage brand reputation through social listening to track sentiment and address any potential issues or crises.

Paid Social Media Campaigns:

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the paid media team to create targeted ad campaigns, including audience segmentation, ad creatives, and budgeting.
  • Track and report on the performance of paid campaigns, adjusting strategies to maximise ROI.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, etc.) for organic and paid social media efforts.
  • Use insights from social media analytics tools to refine strategies and content to improve overall performance.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with brand marketing, PR, product, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and support for broader marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to share social media insights and leverage social channels for company-wide initiatives.

Job Requirements
Candidate Must Have:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and their best practices.
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising and optimisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform content and strategy decisions.
