Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marketing and Branding with over 5 years of professional experience to join our team.
  • The Ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that enhance the company’s image, increase brand awareness, and drive growth.
  • This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to drive viral growth and establish a strong online presence.
  • Create engaging content and high-converting static and video creatives for all social channels.
  • Build and manage relationships with brand ambassadors, affiliates, creators, and micro-influencers to grow the Kredete community.
  • Manage the social posting calendar and collaborate with founders/marketing teams for campaign-specific content.
  • Monitor social trends, identify opportunities for virality, and forge disruptive partnerships.
  • Develop and implement product marketing strategies that align with business goals, including brand awareness, GTM strategy, and outbound campaigns.
  • Oversee outsourced content writers and designers, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Track marketing metrics, demonstrating impact on revenue growth.
  • Start as an individual contributor with potential to build and lead a marketing team.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and external teams to align marketing efforts.
  • Represent the community voice internally and externally, scaling Kredete’s forum and executing user group strategies.
  • Create ambassador programs, in-person meetups, digital competitions, and community recognition initiatives.
  • Manage community newsletters, blog updates, and collaborate with partnerships and support teams to achieve targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building and growing in marketing and branding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and branding strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, community management and media strategies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand consumer behavior, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to facilitate company growth.
  • Vibrant and outgoing personality.
