Job Position: Sales and Marketing Officer

Job Description

  • The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with clients.
  • This role involves generating leads, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.
  • The Sales Officer will work closely with the sales team to execute sales strategies, monitor market trends, and contribute to the company’s overall revenue objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct product presentations and sales pitches to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.

Market Research:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, customer preferences, and new product opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and promotional activities based on market insights.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Ensure regular follow-ups with clients to maintain relationships and ensure long-term business.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, deals, and sales performance using CRM software.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Managing Director, including performance metrics, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales or a similar role.
  • Experience in FMCG, B2B and E-Commerce is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
