Job Position: Lead Engineer
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain fire suppression systems, fire alarms, sprinklers, and other fire safety systems.
- Lead fire safety engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with local and international fire safety regulations and standards.
- Provide technical expertise in fire risk assessments, audits, and inspections.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure project deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire safety systems.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop effective fire safety strategies.
- Conduct training and workshops on fire safety systems for staff and clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire safety engineering, with a focus on installation design and maintenance.
- Proven experience with fire suppression systems, fire alarms, sprinklers, and other fire safety systems.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian and international fire safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
