Job Position: Legal Intern (NYSC)
Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Keep records and ensure currency of all insurance matters for the company
- Prepare standard-form contracts and miscellaneous agreements involving the company
- Conduct land and corporate searches including due diligence reviews for the company
- Conduct preliminary research work as assigned by the supervisor
- Conducting legal research, fact-gathering and analysis onmatters as may be assigned
- Monitor and provide feedback on legislative, regulatory and judicial developments and trends that may impact the company
Job Requirements
- University Degree in Law and membership of the Nigerian Bar
- Understanding of commercial aspects of legal issues
Skills, Competencies and Requirements:
- Interest in the principles and practices of corporate/commercial, civil, constitutional, contract, tort, property, employment, environmental, municipal, and administrative law
- Interest in litigation and arbitration procedures and rules of evidence pertaining to State and Federal courts
- Principles, methods, and practices of legal research.
- Goodunderstanding of Nigerian Land Law

- Good Oral and Written Communication skills
- Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate effectively
