Job Description

  • We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Part-Time Accountant to manage our financial records and contribute to our continued success.
  • This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for the fashion industry.
  • The Part-Time Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial statements, and supporting financial planning activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor and track financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
  • Conduct periodic financial audits and assist in internal and external audits as needed.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Handle any additional accounting tasks or special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Controller.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, preferably within the fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
