Job Description
- As a Civil Engineer at Express Elevator, you’ll work closely with architects, project managers, and installation teams to ensure our elevator systems are seamlessly integrated within various building types, from high-rise residential buildings to commercial and industrial complexes.
- Your expertise in structural integrity and load management will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of each installation.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze building structures to determine load-bearing capabilities and integration points for elevator systems.
- Design and plan for the safe and effective installation of elevators, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural requirements.
- Work alongside architects, mechanical engineers, and project teams to address construction challenges and optimize space utilization.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installations, resolve any structural concerns, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and innovative construction methods related to elevator integration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural engineering, ideally with exposure to elevator installations or building infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
