Job Position: Human Resource Specialist

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly competent and compassionate Human Resource (HR) Specialist to join us.
  • In this dynamic role, you will serve as the HR specialist across all businesses within the group, providing strategic and operational HR support to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • This position will require you to balance traditional HR responsibilities with a people-first approach, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance while promoting the company’s culture and employee well-being.

Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Manage the full recruitment process across all subsidiaries from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the right talent is hired.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to find candidates who align with each business’s culture and values.
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks to ensure the right hire for each role within the holding company.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Ensure new hires across the businesses receive a seamless and positive onboarding experience, introducing them to the unique culture, policies, and procedures of each entity.
  • Conduct exit interviews across all companies, gathering feedback and insights for improving employee retention and organizational culture.
  • Manage transitions, ensuring that offboarding processes comply with legal and ethical standards while treating employees with dignity and respect.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:

  • Serve as the HR point of contact across all business units, addressing workplace concerns, policy clarifications, and conflict resolution.
  • Mediate conflicts in teams or between employees and management across the group, providing fair and compassionate solutions.
  • Foster an open, communicative work environment, promoting mutual respect and care for employees’ well-being.

Performance Management:

  • Support managers within each business unit in setting clear performance expectations and conducting regular appraisals.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) as needed, focusing on employee growth and development.
  • Design and implement group-wide employee development programs to improve skills, boost engagement, and promote career growth.

Compensation & Benefits Administration:

  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs across all business units, including health insurance, pension plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on compensation structures and benefits to employees across the group, as well as clients.
  • Regularly review and recommend updates to benefits packages to meet the diverse needs of employees in the different business sectors.

Training & Development:

  • Develop and coordinate training programs across the different business units, tailored to the unique needs of each sector.
  • Implement workshops and seminars on diversity, leadership, and mental health to promote a positive, inclusive work culture across the group
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend continuous improvements to meet organizational goals.

HR Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure HR policies and practices across all businesses comply with labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and legal documentation for each business.
  • Regularly update HR policies across the organization to reflect legal changes and best practices.

Employee Engagement & Well-Being:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies across the subsidiaries, promoting wellness, team-building, and employee recognition.
  • Champion mental health and well-being initiatives across all business units, creating a supportive work environment.
  • Encourage open communication and foster a culture of inclusion across the group.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track HR metrics such as employee turnover, retention, and satisfaction across all businesses to inform HR decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on HR performance, including recruitment, training, and engagement across the group
  • Use data-driven insights to refine HR strategies across the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in human resources, with experience in multi-business or holding company structures preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices across various sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across diverse business units.
  • Empathetic and compassionate approach to HR, handling sensitive issues with care.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple HR functions across various business entities.
  • Proficiency with HR software systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., CHRM-CP or equivalent).
  • Experience working in real estate, digital, financial, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong background in employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Proven experience in HR data analytics and reporting.
