Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Benin City, Edo

Job Description

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and lead project team members to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including team members, clients, and upper management.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Lead and motivate project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration among team members.
  • Determine and manage project resource requirements, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, estimating time and costs.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Implement and manage project quality control systems
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Provide regular updates to upper management and key stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with project management best practices and emerging trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architect, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies eg. Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
