Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating and leading business development programs focused on various services we offer.
  • He/she will define and execute sales strategy, identify new markets, seal business deals, and implement strategic growth plans including building and sustaining relationships with prospective partners/stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through targeted lead generation and networking.
  • Understand, articulate, and effectively sell compelling business cases and value propositions to target clients; understanding client challenges and what partnership our company can provide.
  • Initiate and negotiate business agreements, contracts, and partnerships to expand the company’s client base.
  • Explore opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and providing additional value to clients. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, and operations, to align strategies and ensure effective project implementation and business partnerships.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress against goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop opportunity profiles maintaining multi-year pipeline of potential clients. Analyze pipeline data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
  •  Elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential competitors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • 6 – 8 years of progressive experience in sales/business development positions; experience in Real Estate industry will be an added advantage.
  • A broad understanding of the Real Estate Industry
  • Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience targeting new markets/segments and developing unique offerings that are clearly distinguished from the competition.
  • A strong client relationship orientation and listening skills that contribute to the development of lasting, trust-based client relationships.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to develop informed strategies.
  • Must be a Sales Guru.
