Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment used within the sugar refinery.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects and upgrades.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices in mechanical engineering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proficient in technical engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in mechanical engineering.
