Job Description
- In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks used in our operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine the best course of action for repair.
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed.
- Test repaired trucks to ensure proper functioning and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Job Requirements
Education:
- OND or Trade certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar industry.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a truck mechanic
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in trucks and heavy duty vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
