Job Position: Recruitment Specialist

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Recruitment Specialist at Gtext Holdings, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company’s workforce requirements.
  • You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding new employees.
  • Your expertise in recruitment processes, candidate management, and employer branding will directly contribute to building a high-performing and diverse workforce.

Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
  • Manage job postings and advertisements across multiple platforms.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

Candidate Management:

  • Maintain and update the candidate database and applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a seamless process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing communication and providing guidance during the interview process.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Provide recommendations on hiring decisions based on candidate evaluations and qualifications.
  • Assist in creating job descriptions, interview guides, and assessment tools in line with the company’s hiring goals.

Onboarding and Reporting:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and integration into their roles.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and analyze data to track recruitment progress, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and other KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, internal policies, and best practices related to recruitment.

Employer Branding:

  • Represent Gtext Holdings at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and promote content that strengthens the company’s employer brand.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Recruitment Specialist or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and hiring trends.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven, and adaptable mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience with social media recruiting and talent sourcing tools.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month.
