Job Description
- As a Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our business.
- You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting potential clients into long-term partnerships.
- Your ability to build strong relationships, understand client needs, and effectively communicate the value of our services will be essential to your success.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to articulate the value proposition of our services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
Client Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services.
Sales Process:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Prepare accurate and compelling proposals and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including consultants, legal experts, and HR specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Share market insights and client feedback to inform business strategy and service offerings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the professional services industry.
- Strong understanding of business structuring, HR consulting, or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary
N150,000 monthly.
