Job Position: Dispatch Rider
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, electrical repairs, equipment servicing, and landscaping.
  2. Work autonomously while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  3. Maintain the buildings and common areas in optimal condition.
  4. Coordinate with the Store Manager for daily maintenance activities.
  5. Request necessary parts promptly to address maintenance needs.
  6. Conduct routine checks on diesel, gas, water levels, and prepaid meter readings.
  7. Inspect and maintain store electrical and mechanical equipment.
  8. Monitor cold room and walk-in freezer temperatures at hourly intervals.
  9. Ensure the safety and functionality of all maintenance tools, equipment, and parts.
  10. Address and resolve maintenance complaints promptly.
  11. Adhere to and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
  12. Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  13. Inspect and repair mechanical systems to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
  14. Maintain electrical systems, including replacing bulbs, sockets, and repairing circuit breakers.
  15. Assist in the installation and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, heating, and plumbing systems.
  16. Conduct manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
  17. Perform general upkeep tasks, including painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
  18. Execute any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in general maintenance and repair processes.
  • Proficiency in using tools, appliances, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and manual dexterity.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work extended hours when required.
