Job Position: CNG Maintenance Technician
Location: Zaria, Kaduna

Job Descriptions

  1. CNG Maintenance will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNG fueling stations and related equipment.
  2. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all CNG systems and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular inspections of CNG systems, engines, and components to identify issues.
  2. Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on CNG vehicles and equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  3. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with CNG systems, engines, and other related components.
  4. Replace or repair faulty parts and components as necessary.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  6. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations while handling CNG equipment.
  7. Assist in the training of junior technicians and share knowledge on best practices in CNG maintenance.
  8. Stay updated on advancements in CNG technology and maintenance techniques.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering with a focus on CNG or gas Compression systems.
  3. Strong knowledge of CNG equipment, safety standards, and maintenance practices.
  4. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for mechanical and electrical systems.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  2. Good communication and teamwork skills.
  3. Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to CNG maintenance.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed
  5. Problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to pay attention to details
  7. Good relationship management skills.
