Job Position: Export Manager (Sales & Marketing), DSR
Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for developing export strategies, managing international client relationships, and driving revenue growth across key global markets. A results-driven and globally minded Export Manager – Sales & Marketing will lead our international sales operations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  2. Identify and develop new international markets and distribution channels.
  3. Manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and trade partners.
  4. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics.
  5. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing and positioning.
  6. Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  7. Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and business forums.
  8. Monitor export performance metrics and prepare regular sales reports.
  9. Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with overseas clients.
  10. Drive brand visibility and marketing campaigns in target export markets.

Skills, Qualifications And Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
  2. A master’s degree or professional certifications in Export Management are a plus.
  3. 7-12 years of experience in export sales, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  4. Strong knowledge of international trade laws, export documentation, and INCOTERMS.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  6. Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
  7. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and data analysis.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams.
  9. Familiarity with FMCG export operations is highly desirable.
  10. Proven track record of managing international markets and achieving sales targets.
