Job Position: Coatings Execution Supervisor
Location: Offshore, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Thanks to its internationally recognised expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also the Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on the ERHA project in Nigeria.
  2. In order to participate in the growth of our Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for a Coatings Execution Supervisor H/F.
  3. This position is located Offshore on the ERHA FPSO in Rotational mode 4×4.
  4. The Coatings Execution Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of integrity restoration programs onboard the Erha FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) facility.
  5. This position is responsible for the delivery of coatings program execution for structures, vessels and piping, oversight for quality assurance, and third-party contractor management.
  6. This role involves acting as the client rep onboard and managing multiple vendors to maximise the productivity of crews; delivering high-quality integrity services; enforcing contract terms and business controls; ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations; and collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices.
  7. This role ensures the integrity and longevity of the facility’s structures and equipment through effective maintenance strategies, compliance with safety standards, and efficient resource management.

Job Requirement

  1. Technical diploma or equivalent experience
  2. 10+ years’ experience in fabric maintenance execution, integrity engineering or equivalent
  3. Proficiency in maintenance planning software
  4. In-depth knowledge of offshore integrity practices, safety regulations, and industry standards
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and senior management.
  6. Experience in team management
  7. Supervisory role within the brownfield coatings campaign
  8. Specialised qualification in coatings inspection and QAQC
  9. Strong leadership and team management skills
  10. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
