Job Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: OPIC Makun City, Lagos
Job Summary
To manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organisation’s management and its employees.

Business Advisory:
- Function in an active & influential business advisory role with management to drive business results as it affects human resources.
- Build an HR team to support the growth of the business
- Maintaining the company directory and other organisational charts
Employee Relations:
- Maintain human resource staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Develop, maintain, revise and recommend structured personnel policies and procedures for the organisation
- Support recruitment initiatives
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
- Overseeing exit interviews
Payroll Administration:
- Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic salary surveys
- Preparing pay budgets
- Recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
- Develop and periodically review the compensation and salary grading structure
- Conducting annual salary surveys
Talent Management:
- Developing, analysing and updating the company’s evaluation program
- Planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance.
- Training & development of all employees, including leadership development
- Maintain professional & technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Build a performance management program with talent pipelines and development opportunities
Compliance:
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource Federal & State requirements.
- Partake in legal research and receive advice on issues related to conflicts of interest, international claims, etc., to avoid disputes and minimise litigation
- Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Educational Qualifications & Work Experience
- Must have an LL.B or B.Sc./ B.A degree in Social Sciences, HRM or a related field.
- Professional certification in HR (such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, SPHRI, PHRI) is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years HR related experience, 5 of which should be in a managerial position.
- In-depth knowledge of Labour and industrial relations
- Immense knowledge about the operational needs of the Business; business-driven with strong financial acumen.
