Job Position: Videographer
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan, film, and edit video content for various platforms (e.g. social media, website, events, campaigns, internal communications)
  2. Collaborate with the Communications team to develop video concepts and storyboards
  3. Set up and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound
  4. Edit footage to create polished final products, including motion graphics and subtitles where needed
  5. Maintain an organised archive of video assets and footage
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into visual storytelling
  7. Capture live events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content as needed
  8. Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity, tone, and communications goals

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a videographer or in a similar role (portfolio required)
  2. Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  3. Strong knowledge of video equipment, lighting, and sound setup
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  5. Excellent storytelling, visual, and editing skills
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Experience with motion graphics, animation, or drone footage (a plus)
