Job Position: Finance Associate
Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

  1. We are seeking a meticulous Finance Associate to support day-to-day financial operations across multiple divisions.
  2. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports for audits and tax purposes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  3. Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and management reports
  4. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (bank and credit cards)
  5. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, invoices, and other financial transactions for employees, vendors, and partners
  6. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audit, tax, and internal review processes
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards such as GAAP or IFRS
  8. Assist in providing financial data and analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning
  9. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support the successful completion of audits

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or in a related field.
  2. Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA
  3. At least 2-3 years’ experience working as a finance associate.
  4. Proficiency in integrated financial management software, such as NetSuite, yooz and Approvalmax.
  5. Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
  6. Attention to detail
  7. Excellent collaborations and communication skills.
