Job Position: Human Resource / Administrative Assistant
Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Job Summary
The HR / Admin Assistant will provide critical support in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Administration department.
This includes assisting with recruitment, employee records, office management, and ensuring smooth internal communication.
The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and people-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Job Responsibilities
Human Resources Support:
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Help coordinate employee training, performance reviews, and other HR programs.
- Support implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Handle routine inquiries related to HR processes and benefits.
Administrative Support:
- Organise and maintain office files, supplies, and records.
- Support general office administration, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and facility management.
- Assist in preparing HR and administrative reports, letters, and internal communications.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and employee support services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or corporate environment.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HR software/systems is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
