Job Position: Sales Representative
Location: Lagos

 Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-drivenSales Representativeto promote and sell our range of high-quality mattresses to retail customers, distributors, and institutional clients.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in retail or field sales—preferably within the mattress, furniture, or home goods sector—and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Job Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Acquisition

  1. Present and sell mattress products to both new and existing customers in assigned territory or region.
  2. Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
  3. Maintain in-depth product knowledge to confidently explain features and benefits to customers.

Retail & Partner Relationship Management

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, furniture stores, and bedding outlets.
  2. Ensure proper product placement and in-store visibility.
  3. Support dealers and distributors with product training and promotional materials.

Target Achievement & Reporting

  1. Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  2. Record sales activities using CRM tools and provide timely sales reports.
  3. Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends in assigned area.

Market Development

  1. Identify potential new accounts in retail, hospitality, or corporate sectors.
  2. Participate in promotional events, trade fairs, and roadshows to increase product exposure.
  3. Provide feedback on customer preferences and market demand to the sales and marketing team.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 4–6 years of sales experience (mattress, furniture, home goods, or FMCG industry preferred).
  3. Proven ability to meet sales targets and build client relationships.

Skills:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  2. Customer-focused and persuasive communicator
  3. Self-motivated with strong time-management abilities
  4. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic reporting systems
  5. Willingness to travel within assigned regions.
