Job Position: Project Engineer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

To plan, design, and oversee construction activities from project inception to completion, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
Project Coordination:

  1. Oversee pre-piling works and project startup activities.
  2. Liaise with relevant departments on materials, equipment logistics, and project planning.
  3. Prepare project checklists and supervise daily site operations.
  4. Provide daily site activity and inventory reports.
  5. Ensure timely mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and materials.

Technical Supervision:

  1. Supervise labour activities, equipment usage, and machine maintenance.
  2. Oversee rebar measurement, cage fabrication, concrete production, and cube sampling.
  3. Participate in land surveying and ensure accurate layout execution.
  4. Estimate material and labour requirements for project feasibility.
  5. Provide technical advice on design changes and structural modifications.

Reporting & Documentation:

  1. Submit weekly progress and daily activity reports.
  2. Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and equipment.
  3. Ensure proper document filing and handover at project completion.

Safety & Compliance:

  1. Enforce safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  2. Promote a culture of safety and ensure team adherence to standards.

Team Support:

  1. Support the project team with related tasks to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

  1. HND / B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  2. 5 years of relevant construction/site engineering experience.
  3. Proficient in reading drawings, interpreting surveys, and using Microsoft Office tools.
  4. Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  5. Physically fit with high attention to detail and organisational ability.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
