Job Position: Accounts & Finance Manager (FMCG)
Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

Job Summary

Responsible to ensure the correctness of Accounting Records in Orion, along with the timely payments to all suppliers. Monitor the payment terms of the supplier & process payments as per the terms.

Job Responsibilities

  1. To reconcile the Customer Control Account & Debtors Suspense Account every week.
  2. To reconcile & prepare the Monthly Accounts payable report, IOU report, Prepayments report & share the same with GM Finance.
  3. To verify all Bank payment entries in Orion & Bank portal to make sure no mistakes in the entries or payment uploads.
  4. To prepare all Export Invoices & reconcile the Export customer ledger to ensure the correct booking of receipts & invoices.
  5. To capitalise all the Fixed Assets & do GRN of the same in Orion.
  6. Checking & approval of all Import Material GRNs & verifying the costing documents received from HO.
  7. Checking of all sales-related float claims & approving the same based on policies set for approval. After checking, get the same approval from HOD.
  8. Booking of all Air tickets for Business purposes as well as leave tickets of Expats based on the policies set.
  9. To check & verify the Salary payments for Nationals & Sales Promoters.
  10. Checking & approval of all Journal Vouchers to be posted in Orion.
  11. Checking & approval of all cash payment vouchers as per the policies set.
  12. Preparation of the Monthly Cash Budget by the 1st of every month.
  13. To perform all other tasks as required by the Management.

  1. Financial Reporting – Timeliness & Accuracy.
  2. Bank Payments – Correctness & timeliness
  3. Effectiveness of Internal Controls
  4. Timely payment to Vendors
  5. Timely recording of Assets & other entries
  6. Timely booking of tickets at a lower price.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or any finance-related course
  2. 5-10 years of experience in Accounts with experience working related to a manufacturing unit.
  3. Professional certification/membership (ICAN)
  4. Taxation, Compliance and Regulatory knowledge
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and ERP finance module.

Salary
N700,000 – N900,000 (Monthly Gross)
