Job Position: Pharmacist
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
- Provide professional advice on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects
- Ensure all prescriptions comply with regulatory and legal standards
- Cross-sell complementary health products and drive daily sales targets
- Offer personalised recommendations to customers based on their health needs
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants in daily operations
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, guidelines, and ethical practices
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and promote health awareness
Requirements
- B.Pharm from a recognised institution
- Valid license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or community pharmacy preferred
- Strong communication, sales, and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving branch sales targets
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory systems is an advantage.
